The Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations (CCSO/CCOM), organizers of the now famous trek across Canada, knew that there would be numerous areas of the lengthy route that would be limited on fuel stops. The option of carrying extra fuel in jerry-cans on the back of the touring type sleds was not an option for safety and environmental reasons, even though they each had a carrying rack. Tour BuddyTM Systems was the only solution and the company came to the rescue with a full sponsorship to equip all 16 sleds (4 from each manufacturer) for which CCSO/CCOM and the riders are most grateful. The Tour BuddyTM Systems performed impeccably and were a God-send on a good number of days during the ride. They were also subject to intense examination and envy whenever the hoods were opened, be it for fueling or to show off the novel accessory. All riders agreed that this was a "must have" item for any touring sled and they would consider adding one to their own machine. Even the mountain riders in the west agreed that it was a long awaited solution to their fuel carrying problems of their backwoods remote riding areas. Renown long distance rider and PowerStreak Rendez-Vous organizer and lead rider Don Lumley says " The Tour BuddyTM System is probably the most needed and useful aftermarket accessory to come to snowmobiling in a good many years". Don't leave home without it ! |
